What is it with us and tires? Filming in Baldwin Park, flat tire trying to leave (new tire). Two of the bolts sheared off while Jonathan was changing the tire, now we have to drive back to Oceanside (90 miles) on a spare with two broken bolts. Life just keeps lifing for us. 😩 #givemeabreak #lifeislifing #productionlife #ugh

Have you ever known someone that truly lit up any room they were in? Someone whose smile was so big that it always looked like you caught them mid laugh in every photo?
That was Kimberly Reinika
She made hard days better. With aching feet after an 18 hour shift she could still make you smile. Her “HI FRIEND!” greeting made everyone feel welcome.
Our lives will be a little darker without that smile, a little quieter without that laugh, and a lot sadder without “shittle diaries”, “wormhole Wednesdays” and unexpected dance moves.
Over a decade ago while having dinner together I asked her what she wanted to do at Disney besides Broadcast Services. She looked me right on the eye and said “I just work to travel. As long as I work enough to travel when and where I want, I’m happy”
She was so excited for us when we moved into our RV, when a lot of people thought we were crazy, she was cheering us on. I loved gifting her things I found on our travels.
She was the only person I knew that loved Diet Coke as much as me. We actually had discussions about where to get the best Diet Coke, including the taste difference between cans, bottles, and fountains.
I watched in awe when she made her dream of walking in the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade as a balloon handler a reality, even while she was battling metastatic breast cancer. And she surely battled that damn disease for years!
8 days ago she received her 30 year statue from Disney, and yesterday she beat cancer by leaving it behind when she gained her wings.
The pain is gone, and she is absolutely smiling and laughing in Heaven.
